Fall is in full swing and the trees are either yellow or bare at this point. We even had our first bit of snow yesterday. Well, the snow was mixed with the rain but it was there. We are bracing for the inevitable layers of snow that will start at any point. The days are already becoming shorter and shorter. It is still dark at 8:30 and we are bracing ourselves for December when the sun will not rise until 10 AM and will start to set at 4:00 PM. Please pray for us as we make adjustments to the short amount of daylight.
It is exciting to say our family has been in Alaska for almost 2 months now and we feel absolutely at home. We have found community through the families at MARC and through our church, Kenai Christian Church. We are so blessed by the encouragement and prayers from all of you near and far. Our Florida family and our Minnesota family. Kenny and I were so excited to be able to be a part of our Gathering Church family in Minnesota by opening the service with an update and announcements via video from Alaska. Oh, how we miss our Emmanuel Baptist Church family and our Gathering family. We are so thankful for these church bodies and their hearts and their prayers. Thank you!!!
During our time here Kenny has been so busy learning the ins and outs of MARC and getting prepared to flight instruct for the organization. He has also been on a trip to a remote village for a food delivery. This was a closed-off community that does not allow anyone in unless you have been invited. Pray for the closed-off communities and villages. Pray for walls to come down so the Gospel can come in. Pray for the next trip to this village as MARC continues to build relationships there.
Kenny and I also wanted to give a quick financial update. Since transferring from Proclaim to MARC we have lost a few monthly partners. We are currently looking for 20 monthly partners to prayerfully consider joining our family as we serve with MARC and the people of Alaska at $75 a month. It is such a blessing to be able to support the families and pastors serving the remote villages, service the planes of pastors, ministries, and missionaries, as well as fly kids to camp each summer where they will hear the Gospel. We are praying for a home to purchase around March/April of next year. Pray for the house the Lord specifically has for our family.

Keira will be taking her driving test by the end of the month. Pray for her do do well. She is prepared!!!
